My Journey & Philosophy

## Nearly a Decade ofAdvanced Practice 

As a Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly a decade of advanced practice experience, I have dedicated my career to helping patients navigate complex health transitions. I began my APRN career in 2018 specializing in wellness and hormone optimization, later transitioning into gastroenterology (GI) in 2022. Throughout it all, integrative medicine and personalized care have been the foundational pillars influencing my practice.

Caring for patients in gastroenterology taught me an invaluable lesson: our hormones, metabolism, nutrition, lifestyle, and digestive health are entirely connected. Lasting wellness cannot be achieved by looking at a lab value in a vacuum; it begins with understanding and supporting the foundational systems that influence how we feel and function every single day.

## Why I  Founded Ona 

Throughout my years as a nurse practitioner, I began to notice a clear pattern. Many successful, responsible women in midlife were quietly struggling with profound fatigue, stubborn weight gain, brain fog, poor sleep, and digestive concerns. They shared a general sense that they no longer felt like themselves. Too often, they were told these changes were simply a normal part of aging.

At the same time, I witnessed the growing impact of preventable metabolic disease and lifestyle-related illness. Yet, I also saw how incredibly powerful education, lifestyle changes, hormone therapy, and personalized care could be when women were given the tools and support they needed to take charge of their health.

Inspired by these experiences—and my own family’s unique health journey—I founded Ona Hormone Balancing & Wellness.

Your comprehensive evaluation begins in the privacy of your home and outlines what you need to take control of your wellness. Includes an extensive symptom mapping, hormone evaluation, and customized testing roadmap. Ongoing care and personalized membership options are discussed in detail during your consultations.

Prescription costs, lab work, and supplements are separate from the evaluation fee.
